Consultants
Two members of Aon Hewitt’s senior leadership, Kristi Savacool, chief executive officer of benefits administration, and Baljit Dail, chief executive officer of consulting, will become co-chief executive officers of Aon Hewitt.
Barnett Waddingham has promoted seven of its senior client advisers to partner, taking the firms total number of partners to 50. The new partners are: Mark Futcher, Amersham; Paul Hubbold, Bromsgrove; Julian Mainwood, Amersham; Ben Pullen, Bromsgrove; Ben Roach, Leeds; Vanessa Smart, Amersham and Ruth Thomas, Bromsgrove.
Nick Wyld joins Muse Advisory, the independent pensions governance and administration consultancy, as associate director. He was previously at Stamford Associates where he was head of client consulting.
Capita Hartshead has appointed Tony Brown as DatA+ manager, responsible for leading the ongoing development and operation of Capita Hartshead’s data analysis and cleansing service.
JLT Benefit Solutions has appointed Derek Watson as business development consultant for the Scottish region who joins from AEGON.
Robert Palmer, currently with Aon Hewitt, joins Quantum Advisory to head its Birmingham team. Aled Edwards has joined the same firm as a senior consultant and actuary based in the Cardiff office.
Hargreaves Lansdown has hired James England as a business development manager. He comes from Standard Life Wealth.
Paul White joins Enrich as a client director from Aon Hewitt.
Independent trustees
Michael Clark has joined Capita Fiduciary in London as head of pension trusts. Michael will lead the team of experienced trustees who provide professional trusteeship to more than 80 pension schemes.
Michael previously worked for third party administrator MNPA where he was senior client manager for 18 years.
Pitmans Trustees has appointed Paul Audu to lead its expansion into the statutory pension scheme sector. Paul Ratcliffe joins the Leeds office from Mercer.
LawDeb Pension Trustees has hired Graham Forest-Jones to help develop and promote its pension trusteeship business.

The Pensions Archive Trust www.pensionsarchive.org.uk has appointed Katy Johnson as its archivist.
Insurance
Aviva has appointed Trevor Matthews as CEO of its UK region and as an executive director of Aviva. Trevor Matthews is currently vice chairman of Friends Life.
Star moversPromotion for Aberdeen’s WebsterAberdeen Asset Management Life and Pensions has appointed Helen Webster as chief operating officer. Helen will be responsible for overseeing operational management and service provision as well as working on strategic development of the business within Aberdeen Group. She will report to Alan Blakeley, chief executive of Aberdeen Life. Prior to joining Aberdeen, Helen worked at Scottish Equitable and AEGON where she qualified as an actuary in 1998. Aberdeen Life currently manages £1.9bn of assets for a wide range of pension scheme and insurance clients spread over equity, fixed income and property products.
