New trustee group meets on 31 March

The Association of Member Nominated Trustees (AMNT) will host its inaugural open meeting for members on 31 March in London.

AMNT is a not –for-profit organisation, which supports member-nominated trustees, member-nominated directors and employee representatives, of UK based pension schemes on the private and public sector.

Barry Parr, co-chair of AMNT commented; “'We will be inviting members who are interested in a special morning training session dedicated to working through a few of the modules within the Regulator's Trustee Toolkit. In addition, during the open meeting in the afternoon we will be running tutorials on Buy-Outs / Buy-Ins and a unique review of the Pensions Press - many MNTs being unaware of the resources available to them.” AMNT now has 136 members and is supported by 100 friends.

The event will be held on 31 March at Pensions Corporation offices in London. Members and potential members should contact mail@amnt.org for further details of the event and to register.
