Expand Your Horizons – Become a Volunteer Adviser

Were you aware that the vast majority of the public not only do not understand pensions but also do not know how to resolve problems with their provider? 

Do you have what it takes to help these people through the pensions maze? 

The Pensions Advisory Service is seeking experienced pensions professionals to help people with their pensions problems.  You will need to have:

• Several years pensions experience and/or be APMI qualified;
• Tact, sensitivity, drafting and negotiating skills and the ability to be impartial.

You would deal with written correspondence in your own time and would be able to control the amount of time you spend on this work.

The financial rewards are nil, though all out of pocket expenditure is reimbursed.  You will however undoubtedly gain new skills and experience not available to you in your normal workplace.
