Annuity Rates

Competitive compulsory purchase annuity rates as at 2 August 2010. All payments are monthly in arrears, without a guarantee period and with escalation and a spouse’s benefi t of 100% on joint life as shown. Figures assume an annuity purchase price of £100,000 and are shown gross. Figures are for illustration purposes only and do not include enhanced rates for smokers or those in ill health, or companies that provide annuities only for a specifi c group of retirees. A company appearing top for one set of benefits or age may be poor for a diff erent set; it is therefore imperative to shop around for an annuity based on your circumstances.

Rates may change by the time of publication. Figures supplied by The Annuity Bureau, a division of Alexander Forbes Financial Services, FSA authorised and regulated.
